What a dream come true it was to gab with
tonight! We kiki’d about the things that matter most; Beyoncé, BRAT, and Katy Perry’s diaper dance.
And baby, we were giggling! It was giving “Sister, Sister” energy, with plenty of sibling synchronicity.
Hunter is also a phenomenal writer, so of course I wanted to chat about her relationship to the craft. Her answer on what writing means to her reminded me of a Toni Morrison quote I love:
Writing is really a way of thinking--not just feeling but thinking about things that are disparate, unresolved, mysterious, problematic or just sweet.
